...start giving your baby three meals a day? My daughter is nearly
walking, but shes only 7 1/2 months old. She's still waking up at
night, which for the record I have no problem with, but it makes me
think is she getting enough food during the day? She has 5-6 full
breastfeeds per day, plus 2-3 bits of fruit, a cruskit, and dinner.
I'm thinking of starting her on breakfast too,
What has been your experience with solids? Especially if your baby
moved early?

Um, our girl started solids at 3 months, and has been on brekkie
since about 5 months, she has slept through the night since 2weeks
old, and has arvo tea @ 3.30-4pm, she's on 3 formula feeds a day
and is going well,
If your not sure what to start using for brekkie we use weetbix
:)
Hope this helps

Hi Kat
I have 3 children and each of them have started solids at different
ages and progressed at different speeds - my youngest started at 6
months months and rapidly went from one meal to three in a few
weeks.
He loves brekkie and unlike my other two preferred to get up and
eat rather than have a snggle and a breasfeed in bed.
He is a very active little baby as your little one sounds like
she's on the go too, I would give breakfast a try if she doesn't
want it she won't eat it.
Goodluck maybe increase the protein in dinner too to fill her for
longer : )

Hi Kat :) My little boy rapidly went from starting solids to having
three meals a day in a couple of weeks, starting when he was almost
5 months old. He's a very active little guy - on the move all the
time - and now at 10 months is having 3 meals plus morning &
afternoon tea, along with about 500ml formula a day! (he self
weaned at 8 months).
Good luck!
