Breastfeeding
Breastfeeding is no walk in the park at first but with time, love and perseverance - we as mothers can give a wonderful gift to our children. Breastfeeding has been pushed out of the mainstream by big business/society for the past hundred years (or more) and we are now seeing a return to breastfeeding - even extended breastfeeding and naturally led weaning - particularly in the wake of such tragedies as the formula/melamine poisoning in China and the awful stats that are arising in conjunction to formula and childhood diseases (obesity, diabetes, gastro etc...) While formula has a place, in extreme circumstances, we owe it to our children to do our very best to give them a good start. Come and join in her to gain support, ask questions, debate and discuss. It's time to give our children the very best we can! |
